On a spring evening in 1972 I was introduced to the person who would change my life. Cleto Munari remembers the meeting well. It took place in Vicenza, the Palladian city north of Venice, where both he and Carlo Scarpa worked. In Scarpa the architect, Munari found friend, teacher and collaborator. Global Lighting Presents Jacco Maris Designs in Delft

Mt. Vernon, New York........Dutch designer Jacco Maris has collaborated with artists Frank De Wit and Ben Quaedvl to create a Delft version of his stainless steel Montone chandelier. The artists hand paint traditional Delft patterns on the strips of metal which have been powdercoated in white.
